Grown in the lush highlands of Ethiopia, Banko Gotiti coffee comes from small, family-owned farms surrounding the village of Banko Gotiti in the renowned Gedeb district of the Gedeo Zone. These farms are part of the Banko Gotiti Cooperative — a dedicated group of around 300 members producing exceptional coffee since 2012.
Originally a part of the larger Worka Cooperative, Banko Gotiti quickly built a name for itself, becoming known across Ethiopia for its meticulous cherry selection and consistent cup quality. The cooperative sources ripe cherries from 400 to 700 smallholder farms, all clustered within just a few kilometers of the Banko Gotiti washing station.
Thanks to the region’s high elevation, rich soil, and careful processing, this coffee showcases a beautifully clean and layered profile. Expect sweet, biscuity notes up front, followed by bright strawberry, juicy red grape, and a smooth stone fruit finish — a standout example of Ethiopian coffee at its finest.
