This standout coffee comes from the Gogogu Washing Station in the Kofee district of Guji, Ethiopia—an area famous for producing some of the most complex and fruit-forward coffees in the world.
Over 700 small farmers from the surrounding hills (within just 5km of the mill) bring their hand-picked cherries here. With average farm sizes of only 2 hectares, each harvest is a reflection of generations of care and tradition. The cherries are processed using time-honored Natural Ethiopian methods to bring out the unique character of the region.
Harvested between December and February, this coffee has vibrant fruity notes of strawberry, peach, Concord grape, blueberry, and a hint of orange blossom, balanced by a crisp, acidity.
